A TRiSTAR phase 3 fellow, Associate Professor SAITO, Tsuyoshi, has been awarded the BMC/BMCL Prize at the 41st Medicinal Chemistry Symposium. The award was given in recognition of his achievement in developing a drug capable of spatially and temporally controlling the activation of the adenosine A2A receptor using light, successfully inducing sleep remotely in mice equipped with fiber optics.
