Interdisciplinary research is expected to be conducted not only in Japan, but also through international joint research across borders and countries, and to produce original and cutting-edge innovations. This seminar will introduce how researchers who have been selected for the “Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP)”, an international grant, have expanded their global network with researchers from other countries and developed interdisciplinary research. It will also discuss the intrigue and significance of international collaboration and the benefits for career development as a researcher.
