The 4th TRiSTAR Consortium Networking Seminar held with ARK INNOVATION Co., LTD. (Octorber 29, 2024)

TRiSTAR held the 4th TRiSTAR Consortium Networking Seminar for communication of TRiSTAR fellows with ARK INNOVATION Co., LTD. (ARK),  one of  the Partner Institutions, on Octorber 29, 2024.

The aim of TRiSTAR Consortium Networking Seminar is not only to deepen the expertise of the researchers participating in TRiSTAR program, but also to support the development of new research beyond their field of expertise, through the communication with institutions participating in TRiSTAR consortium. The seminar with ARK, a consulting firm, was held on the topic “Business Development from University Research: Management Perspectives in Research” at the Tokyo campus of University of Tsukuba. President Inoue and Director Tsukahara from ARK and 4 researchers from TRiSTAR attended the seminar.

President Inoue gave a lecture from the perspective of “Establishment of a venture business from university seeds,” and the TRiSTAR researchers made presentations on business development from their own research in the style of a three-minute pitch. Through this opportunity, TRiSTAR participants were able to exchange opinions, which is different from the usual exchange among researchers.
