The Matsui Lab at the University of Tsukuba, which specializes in Exercise Biochemistry and Sports Neurobiology, is dedicated to uncovering the essence of high performance in various forms of physical activity such as exercise, martial arts, and eSport. Our goal is to promote a healthy and fulfilling sports lifestyle for all individuals, which in turn can aid in achieving their personal aspirations and fostering strong connections with others.
As a sport neurobiologist, I strive to maintain a pragmatic perspective on the field of sport sciences while also studying the physical, competitive, organizational, and playful aspects of sports from a biological standpoint, recognizing it as a fundamental activity among animals. This is my ideal. I believe that this vision represents the ideal for the next generation of sport life science, one that can be embraced across industries, government, and academia. I am eager to further develop my borderless understanding of sport biology at TRiSTAR.
